Responsibilities:
Simmons Foods is hiring multiple maintenance machine operators at varying levels and shifts. Generally a maintenance machine operator ensures all products meet the appropriate specifications and established standards. Other duties include:- daily set-up and operation of the production machine
- operates machine to production standards
- performs preventive maintenance and inspects equipment on a regular basis
- performs light maintenance on machine, assists maintenance mechanics with troubleshooting
- adjusts production machines to ensure efficiency, quality, and accuracy with minimal loss of production
Qualifications:
- Technical Experience in troubleshooting machines, basic mechanical and computer literacy
- Prior experience in the poultry or food processing organization is preferred
- Must have a good English skills (verbal and written)
- High School Education or GED preferred
- Basic Math skills are required
- Must be able to demonstrate mechanical knowledge via entry-level maintenance examination
