Responsibilities:
Simmons Foods is hiring multiple maintenance technicians at varying levels and shifts. Some positions allow applicants to apply in person on designated times and dates, these applicants are given priority and may have the ability to start working as soon as possible. Generally a maintenance technician assists in equipment repair and preventive maintenance procedures. Other duties include:- repairs, replaces, corrects or affects equipments as needed to ensure the equipments operates correctly
- troubleshoot equipment
- meet safety requirements
- participates in team engagement activities and projects
Qualifications:
- Experience or vocational training in welding, electrical repair, mechanical repair, refrigeration, and/or hydraulics
- Prior experience in the poultry or food processing organization is preferred
- Must have a good English skills (verbal and written)
- High School Education or GED preferred
