We recently published a list of 2024 Reliability Conferences mostly scheduled in the US. This newsletter will cover over 50 of Europe’s 2024 Reliability and Maintenance conferences, as well as manufacturing and engineering conferences. 

Industry professionals know that attending, sponsoring, and presenting at reliability and maintenance conferences is a fantastic way to learn about new technology and advances in manufacturing, network, and get your company’s name out there. 

2024 will offer many conferences covering a variety of different topics and industries, giving you the opportunity to do all the above. International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications ICIEA 2024 (France)

ICIEA is the leading conference to disseminate, to all branches of industries, information on the most recent and relevant research, theories and practices in ICIEA. All submissions are subjected to rigorous review before an acceptance decision is made. This conference has been attended by more than 1000 participants from 50 countries since 2014 and was successfully held in major cities such as Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Nagoya, and Paris. 2024 The 11th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications is to be held in Nice, France January 10-12, and focuses on the latest achievements in industrial engineering and its applications.

Maintenance is a necessity for a well-functioning industry. Strategic maintenance plays a significant role in the transition towards a sustainable industry, a transition which in turn is crucial for a sustainable society. Underhållsmässan is the hub for the present and future industry.

The obvious way forward for the industry, and to achieve the right strategy and effective transition, is through dialogue. Industry representatives such as companies, researchers, and experts in industrial maintenance and safety are brought together with decision-makers and customers.

Areas that will be highlighted during the various conferences include maintenance strategy, personal protection, industrial safety, and the development and applications of additive manufacturing. The conferences are organized in conjunction with the exhibition.

Maintenance Fair: At the Maintenance Fair, we offer an open stage program from the fair’s two open stages, the Main Stage and the Technology Stage. The moderator for the Main Stage is Frida Zetterström, who guides us through the program every day. Frida Zetterström is an experienced freelance journalist, radio host, presenter, and lecturer. She has served as a moderator and emcee at numerous events, conferences, and fairs.

Educational Activities: The knowledge content at the Swedish Maintenance Fair is getting more and more comprehensive! In addition to the program content on our open stages and conference content during the fair, various training activities are presented for skills development and knowledge transfer. The training offers opportunities for industry leaders, technicians, and maintenance managers to evaluate new technologies, implement winning strategies and modernize their maintenance process.

Production for Future: In connection with the Swedish Maintenance Fair 2024 in Gothenburg, the project Production For Future, together with Gothenburg Teknikcollege, Research Institutes for Sweden (RISE) and Chalmers University, invites students from high schools and vocational adult, polytechnic and college courses to profit from a unique opportunity to learn more about industrial digitalization.

Student and Career Days: Exciting news is waiting for you before the 2024 Swedish Maintenance Fair. We are organizing two Student & Career Days on 14-15 March as part of the event. On 14 March, the program is aimed at people who have completed their education and/or are already working. On 15 March, the program is aimed at students. On each occasion, we offer a 30-minute introduction to the maintenance industry.

ESREL 2024: Advances in Reliability, Safety and Security (Poland)

The ESREL 2024 Conference is accompanied with the Post ESREL 2024 Workshop, 28-30 June 2024.

ESREL is the annual event in the area of reliability analysis, risk assessment, risk management and optimization of the safety performance of socio-technological systems.

EUROCORR 2024 (France)

The European Corrosion Congress – EUROCORR, the EFC’s annual conference, is the flagship event of the international corrosion calendar. Attracting upwards of a thousand delegates, it is held every year in September in a different European country. EUROCORR is famous for its high technical standard and its popular social program.

In 2024, EUROCORR will take place in Paris, France, from September 1^st to 5^th, 2024. The venue is the Palais des Congrès de Paris, ideally located within walking distance from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and easily accessible by public transport. 

EUROCORR2024 will cover all aspects of corrosion science, technology, and engineering, with emphasis on a main theme:

A step forward in societal awareness of material degradation issues

This will be achieved by bringing together corrosion experts from universities, research centers and industries. EUROCORR2024 will be a forum for presentation and discussion of advances in understanding corrosion phenomena and progress in corrosion prevention.

The program will include plenary lectures, keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations in all the areas covered by the EFC working parties, with additional topical workshops.
