Why Your Plant, Mill, or Mine Should Participate in OSHA Safe+Sound Week 2025

Successful safety and health programs can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line. Participating in Safe + Sound Week can help get your program started, energize an existing one, or provide a chance to recognize your safety and health accomplishments. Participating in Safe + Sound Week is easy and fun!

All workplaces need a safety and health program that includes management leadership, worker participation, and a systemic approach to finding and fixing hazards. Focus on ways to be safe and sound at work whether you already have an effective program, or you are getting started with building one.

All organizations looking for an opportunity to recognize their commitment to safety and health are welcome to participate. Last year, more than 5,000 businesses helped raise awareness about workers’ safety and health!

Can’t participate during Safe + Sound Week? That’s okay! Pick a week that works for you and your team.

Date and Time: 08/13/2025 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM

Description: What if your safety program was your company’s most attractive asset? Let’s be honest: most safety programs are built on fear and checklists. They’re boring, they’re ignored, and they do little to inspire the very people they’re meant to protect. It’s time for a new approach. At OccuPros, we believe a truly “sexy” safety culture is confident, attracts and retains top talent, and powerfully protects your team. It’s not a list of rules; it’s a vibe of trust, engagement, and shared ownership. Join us for “Safety is Sexy,” a free, high-energy workshop designed for DFW’s business leaders, HR professionals, and managers who are tired of the status quo. We’ll show you how to ditch the dry compliance binders and build a vibrant safety culture that people actually love.
