Responsibilities:
The Production Planner must:- support SAP enterprise system for Savannah production
- Maintain Master Recipe/Bill of Material
- Maintain MRP settings of products in SAP
- coordinate with area supervisors for production planning to meet shipping requirements
- create production plan
- daily review of completed process orders
- support process yield improvements and cost/waste reduction plans
- support process technology and trial planning with area supervisors
- monitor raw material demand
- properly handle all chemicals and waste in accordance with RCRA regulation and OSHA Hazard Communication Standard
Qualifications:
- suitable degree
- knowledge of safe work practices, environmental, and safety rules and regulations
- ability to influence without authority
- team player with strong work ethic and high level of engagement
- ability to work with diverse groups including plant personnel, internal functional groups, and external vendors
